Red 7 is a PH neutral wheel cleaner that turns red on contact with tiny metal particles which can cause corrosion such as fallout and brake dust allowing you to see the contaminates you are removing. Red 7 combines a powerful cleaning action with a high gloss finish yet is safe for all surfaces including paint, rubber, plastic, aluminium, polished alloys, carbon and even the most delicate wheels and brake discs. You can also use this product to remove light corrosion from other metal surfaces such as tools and diesel tanks.

Q: What is the best way to use Red 7?

A: Remove heavy grime and soiling first then apply Red 7

Q: After using a wheel cleaner my brake discs go rusty, is this normal?

A: Yes, after washing or exposure to periods of wet weather a thin film of rust will form on the surface of the brake disc. This is normal and will be removed when the brakes are applied.

Q: Should I dilute Red 7?

A: No, the product should be used neat.

Q: Are there any precautions?

A: Yes do not spray directly onto brake discs and brake pads.

Q: Is Red 7 safe for all surfaces?

A: Red 7 can’t be used on galvanised parts.

Q: What precautions should I use with using Red 7?

A: We recommend that gloves and goggles are used during use.
